Deuteronomy 6
- 1 이제 주 너희 하나님께서 너희에게 가르치라고 명령하신 명령과 법규와 판단의 법도가 이러하니 이것은 너희가 가서 소유할 땅에서 너희가 그것들을 행하게 하려 함이요,
- 2 또 네가 평생토록 주 네 하나님을 두려워하며 내가 너와 네 아들과 네 손자에게 명령하는 그분의 모든 법규와 명령을 지키게 하려 함이니라. 그리하면 네 날들이 길게 되리라.
- 3 ¶그러므로, 오 이스라엘아, 듣고 그것을 지켜 행하라. 그리하면 네가 잘되고 주 네 조상들의 하나님께서 네게 약속하신 것 같이 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에서 너희가 강하게 불어나리라.
- 4 오 이스라엘아, 들으라. 주 우리 하나님은 한 주시니
- 5 너는 네 마음을 다하고 혼을 다하고 힘을 다하여 주 네 하나님을 사랑하라.
- 6 이 날 내가 네게 명령하는 이 말씀들을 네 마음속에 두고
- 7 너는 그것들을 네 자녀들에게 부지런히 가르치며 네가 네 집에 앉을 때에든지, 길을 걸을 때에든지, 누울 때에든지, 일어날 때에든지 그것들을 말할 것이며
- 8 너는 또 그것들을 네 손에 매어 표적으로 삼고 네 눈 사이에 두어 이마의 표로 삼으며
- 9 또 네 집의 기둥과 네 문에 기록할지니라.
- 10 주 네 하나님께서 네 조상 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 맹세하신 땅으로 너를 데리고 들어가시고 네가 건축하지 아니한 크고 좋은 도시들을 네게 주시며
- 11 네가 채우지 아니한 집 곧 모든 좋은 물건이 가득한 집을 주시고 파서 만든 우물 곧 네가 파지 아니한 우물을 주시며 네가 심지 아니한 포도원과 올리브나무를 주사 네가 먹고 배부르게 하실 때에
- 12 너는 조심하여 너를 이집트 땅 속박의 집에서 데리고 나오신 주를 잊지 말고
- 13 주 네 하나님을 두려워하며 그분을 섬기고 그분의 이름으로 맹세할지니라.
- 14 너희는 다른 신들 곧 너희 사방에 있는 백성의 신들을 따르지 말라.
- 15 (너희 가운데 계신 주 네 하나님은 질투하는 하나님이시니) 주 네 하나님의 분노가 너를 향해 타올라 너를 지면에서 끊어 멸하실까 염려하노라.
- 16 ¶너희가 맛사에서 주 너희 하나님을 시험한 것 같이 그분을 시험하지 말라.
- 17 너희는 주 너희 하나님께서 네게 명령하신바 그분의 명령과 증언과 법규를 부지런히 지키라.
- 18 너는 주의 눈앞에서 바르고 선한 것을 행할지니 그리하면 네가 잘되고 주께서 네 조상들에게 맹세하신 좋은 땅으로 들어가 그것을 소유할 것이요,
- 19 주께서 말씀하신 대로 네 앞에서 네 모든 원수를 내쫓으리라.
- 20 이후에 네 아들이 네게 물어 이르기를, 주 우리 하나님께서 당신들에게 명령하신 증언과 법규와 판단의 법도가 무엇을 뜻하나이까? 하거든
- 21 너는 네 아들에게 이르기를, 우리가 이집트에서 파라오의 노예가 되었을 때에 주께서 강한 손으로 우리를 이집트에서 데리고 나오셨나니
- 22 곧 주께서 우리 눈앞에서 크고 굉장한 표적들과 이적들을 이집트와 파라오와 그의 온 집안에게 보이셨으며
- 23 우리 조상들에게 맹세하신 땅을 우리에게 주시려고 또 거기로 우리를 데리고 들어가시려고 우리를 이집트에서 데리고 나오셨도다.
- 24 또 항상 우리가 행복하도록 주께서 우리에게 이 모든 법규를 행할 것과 주 우리 하나님을 두려워할 것을 명령하셨으니 이것은 그분께서 이 날과 같이 우리를 살려 보존하려 하심이라.
- 25 그분께서 우리에게 명령하신 대로 우리가 주 우리 하나님 앞에서 이 모든 명령을 지켜 행하면 그것이 우리의 의가 되리라, 할지니라.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
