Deuteronomy 25
- 1 사람들 사이에 시비가 생겨 그들이 재판을 받으러 오거든 재판관들은 그들을 판단하여 의로운 자는 의롭다 하고 사악한 자는 정죄할 것이며
- 2 사악한 자에게 매를 때리는 것이 합당하거든 재판관은 그를 엎드리게 하고 그의 잘못에 따라 정한 수효대로 자기 얼굴 앞에서 때리게 할지니라.
- 3 마흔 대까지는 때리게 하려니와 그것을 넘기지는 못할지니 만일 그것을 넘겨 많은 매로 그를 이보다 더 때리면 네가 네 형제를 비천한 자로 여길까 염려하노라.
- 4 ¶너는 소가 곡식을 밟을 때에 소의 입에 마개를 씌우지 말라.
- 5 ¶형제들이 함께 거하는데 그들 중 한 명이 죽고 아이가 없거든 그 죽은 자의 아내는 밖에서 남에게 시집가지 말 것이요, 그녀의 남편의 형제가 그녀에게로 들어가 그녀를 아내로 취해 남편의 형제 된 의무를 그녀에게 행할 것이며
- 6 이로써 그녀가 낳는 맏아들이 죽은 그의 형제의 이름을 잇게 하여 그의 이름이 이스라엘에서 끊어지지 않게 할 것이니라.
- 7 그러나 그 사람이 자기 형제의 아내 취하는 것을 좋아하지 아니하거든 그의 형제의 아내는 성문으로, 장로들에게로 올라가 말하기를, 내 남편의 형제가 이스라엘 안에서 자기 형제에게 이름을 일으켜 주기를 거부하여 내 남편의 형제 된 의무를 행하려 하지 아니하나이다, 할 것이요,
- 8 그의 도시의 장로들은 그를 불러서 그에게 말할 것이며 만일 그가 그 일을 고집하며 말하기를, 그녀를 취하는 것을 내가 좋아하지 아니하노라, 하거든
- 9 그의 형제의 아내가 장로들의 앞에서 그에게 다가가 그의 발에서 신을 벗기고 그의 얼굴에 침을 뱉으며 응답하여 이르기를, 자기 형제의 집을 세우려 하지 아니하는 그 사람에게는 이같이 하리라, 할 것이며
- 10 이스라엘 안에서 그의 이름을 자기 신이 벗겨진 자의 집이라 할 것이니라.
- 11 ¶사람들이 서로 싸울 때에 한 사람의 아내가 자기 남편을 치는 자의 손에서 자기 남편을 건져 내려고 가까이 가서 자기 손을 내밀어 그 사람의 은밀한 부위를 붙잡거든
- 12 너는 그녀의 손을 자를 것이요, 네 눈이 그녀를 불쌍히 보지 말지니라.
- 13 ¶너는 네 가방에 서로 다른 추 곧 큰 것과 작은 것을 넣지 말고
- 14 네 집에 서로 다른 되 곧 큰 것과 작은 것을 두지 말며
- 15 오직 너는 완전하고 공정한 추를 두고 완전하고 공정한 되를 둘지니라. 그리하면 주 네 하나님께서 네게 주시는 땅에서 네 날들이 길게 되리니
- 16 그런 일들을 행하는 모든 자들 곧 불의하게 행하는 모든 자들은 주 네 하나님께 가증한 자니라.
- 17 ¶너희가 이집트에서 나올 때 아말렉이 길에서 네게 행한 일을 기억하라.
- 18 그가 길에서 너를 만나 네가 약하고 피곤할 때에 네 뒤를 치되 곧 네 뒤에 떨어진 약한 모든 자를 쳤나니 그가 하나님을 두려워하지 아니하였느니라.
- 19 그러므로 주 네 하나님께서 네게 주어 상속 재산으로 소유하게 하시는 땅에서 주 네 하나님께서 네게 안식을 주시고 사방에 있는 네 모든 원수로부터 벗어나게 하실 때에 너는 아말렉에 대한 기억을 하늘 아래에서 지워 버릴지니라. 너는 그것을 잊지 말지니라.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
