Deuteronomy 2
- 1 그때에 우리가 돌이켜서 주께서 내게 명령하신 대로 이동하여 홍해 길로 광야로 들어가 여러 날 동안 세일 산을 돌았더니
- 2 주께서 내게 말씀하여 이르시되,
- 3 너희가 충분히 오랫동안 이 산을 돌았은즉 돌이켜 북쪽으로 가라.
- 4 또 너는 백성에게 명령하여 이르기를, 너희가 세일에 거하는 너희 형제 곧 에서 자손의 지경을 지나갈 터인즉 그들이 너희를 두려워하리니 그러므로 너희는 스스로 매우 조심하고
- 5 그들과 상관하지 말라. 내가 그들의 땅을 결코 한 발자국도 너희에게 주지 아니하리니 내가 세일 산을 에서에게 소유로 주었느니라.
- 6 너희는 돈을 주고 그들에게서 양식을 사서 먹고 또 돈을 주고 그들에게서 물을 사서 마시라.
- 7 주 네 하나님이 네 손의 모든 일에서 네게 복을 주었고 네가 이 큰 광야를 걸어서 지나는 것을 알며 주 네 하나님이 이 사십 년 동안 너와 함께하였으므로 네게 아무것도 부족한 것이 없었느니라, 하라, 하시기에
- 8 우리가 세일에 거하던 우리 형제 곧 에서 자손을 비켜 지나가고 엘랏과 에시온가벨에서 시작되는 평야 길을 통과할 때에 돌아서 모압의 광야 길로 지나가니라.
- 9 주께서 내게 이르시되, 모압 족속을 괴롭히지 말고 그들과 전쟁하며 싸우지도 말라. 내가 그들의 땅을 네게 소유로 주지 아니하리니 내가 아르를 롯 자손에게 소유로 주었느니라.
- 10 과거에 엠 족속이 그 안에 거하였는데 그 백성은 크고 많으며 아낙 족속처럼 키가 컸으므로
- 11 사람들이 그들 또한 아낙 족속처럼 거인으로 여겼으나 모압 족속은 그들을 엠 족속이라 불렀으며
- 12 예전에 호리 족속도 세일에 거하였으나 에서 자손이 그들 앞에서 그들을 멸하고 그들의 뒤를 이어 그들 대신 그 땅에 거하였으니 그것은 마치 이스라엘이 주께서 자기들에게 주신 자기 소유의 땅에 행한 것과 같았느니라.
- 13 내가 이르기를, 이제 너희는 일어나 세렛 시내를 건너가라, 하매 우리가 세렛 시내를 건넜은즉
- 14 우리가 가데스바네아에서 떠나 세렛 시내를 건널 때까지의 기간이 삼십팔 년이었느니라. 마침내 이때에 군사들의 모든 세대가 주께서 그들에게 맹세하신 대로 그 군대 가운데서 소멸되었나니
- 15 참으로 주의 손이 그들을 치사 그 군대 가운데서 그들을 멸하셨으므로 마침내 그들이 소멸되었느니라.
- 16 ¶이처럼 모든 군사가 백성 가운데서 끊어져 소멸되고 죽은 뒤에
- 17 주께서 내게 말씀하여 이르시되,
- 18 네가 이 날 모압의 지경인 아르를 지나리니
- 19 암몬 자손의 맞은편에 가까이 가거든 그들을 괴롭히지 말며 그들과 상관하지도 말라. 내가 암몬 자손의 땅을 네게 조금도 소유로 주지 아니하리니 내가 그 땅을 롯 자손에게 소유로 주었느니라.
- 20 (옛날에 거인들이 그 안에 거하였으므로 사람들이 그곳 또한 거인들의 땅으로 여겼으며 암몬 족속은 그들을 삼숨 족속이라 불렀느니라.
- 21 그 백성은 크고 많으며 아낙 족속처럼 키가 컸으나 주께서 암몬 족속 앞에서 그들을 멸하셨으므로 암몬 족속이 그들의 뒤를 이어 그들 대신 거하였으니
- 22 그것은 마치 그분께서 세일에 거하던 에서 자손을 위하여 그들 앞에서 호리 족속을 멸하신 것과 같았느니라. 그들이 호리 족속의 뒤를 이어 그들 대신 이 날까지 거하였으며
- 23 또 갑돌에서 나온 갑돌 족속이, 하세림에 거하며 앗사에까지 이른 아비 족속을 멸하고 그들 대신 거하였느니라.)
- 24 ¶너희는 일어나 이동하여 아르논 강을 건너라. 보라, 내가 헤스본 왕 아모리 족속 시혼과 그의 땅을 네 손에 주었은즉 그와 전쟁하며 싸워 그 땅을 소유하기 시작하라.
- 25 이 날 내가 온 하늘 아래 민족들로 하여금 너를 무서워하며 너를 두려워하게 하리니 그들이 네 소문을 듣고 떨며 너로 인하여 고통을 받으리라, 하셨느니라.
- 26 ¶내가 그데못 광야에서 헤스본 왕 시혼에게 사자들을 보내어 화평의 말로 이르기를,
- 27 내가 네 땅을 지나가게 하라. 내가 큰길을 따라 가고 오른쪽으로나 왼쪽으로나 치우치지 아니하리라.
- 28 너는 돈을 받고 내게 양식을 팔아 내가 먹게 하고 돈을 받고 내게 물을 주어 내가 마시게 하라. 나는 내 발로 걸어서 지나갈 뿐인즉
- 29 (세일에 거하는 에서 자손과 아르에 거하는 모압 족속이 내게 행한 것 같이 하라.) 그리하면 마침내 내가 요르단을 건너 주 우리 하나님께서 우리에게 주시는 땅에 이르리라, 하였으나
- 30 헤스본 왕 시혼이 우리가 자기 옆으로 지나는 것을 허락하지 아니하니라. 이 날에 드러난 것과 같이 주 네 하나님께서 그를 네 손에 넘겨주시려고 그의 영을 강퍅하게 하시고 그의 마음을 완고하게 하셨느니라.
- 31 주께서 내게 이르시되, 보라, 내가 시혼과 네 앞에 있는 그의 땅을 네게 주기 시작하였노니 너는 그의 땅을 상속하기 위해 소유하기 시작하라, 하시니라.
- 32 그때에 시혼이 자기의 온 백성을 거느리고 나와 우리를 대적하여 야하스에서 싸웠는데
- 33 주 우리 하나님께서 그를 우리 앞에서 넘겨주시므로 우리가 그와 그의 아들들과 그의 온 백성을 쳤으며
- 34 그때에 우리가 그의 모든 도시를 점령하고 각 도시에서 남자와 여자와 어린것들을 하나도 남기지 아니하고 진멸하였으며
- 35 다만 가축과 또 우리가 빼앗은 도시들에서 노략한 것은 우리의 탈취물로 삼았느니라.
- 36 아르논 강가의 아로엘과 그 강 옆에 있는 도시로부터 길르앗에 이르기까지 우리가 상대하기에 너무 강한 도시가 하나도 없었으며 주 우리 하나님께서 그 모든 것을 우리에게 넘겨주셨느니라.
- 37 오직 암몬 자손의 땅과 얍복 강 지역과 산지에 있는 도시들과 또 어느 것이든지 주 우리 하나님께서 우리를 금하신 것에는 네가 가지 아니하였느니라.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
