Job 3
- 1 이 일 뒤에 욥이 자기 입을 열어 자기의 날을 저주하니라.
- 2 욥이 말하여 이르되,
- 3 내가 태어난 그 낮과 사람들이, 사내아이를 수태하였다, 하던 그 밤이 소멸되었더라면,
- 4 그 낮이 어두웠더라면, 하나님께서 위에서 그 낮을 돌아보지 아니하셨더라면, 빛도 그 낮 위에 빛을 발하지 아니하였더라면,
- 5 어둠과 사망의 그늘이 그 낮을 얼룩지게 하였더라면, 구름이 그 낮 위에 거하였더라면, 그 낮의 캄캄함이 그 낮을 무섭게 하였더라면 좋았으리라.
- 6 그 밤으로 말하건대 어둠이 그 밤을 붙잡았더라면, 그 밤이 그 해의 날수에 끼지도 아니하고 달수에 들지도 아니하였더라면 좋았으리라.
- 7 보라, 그 밤이 적막하였더라면, 그 밤에 기뻐하는 소리가 나지 아니하였더라면,
- 8 그 낮을 저주하는 자들 곧 어느 때든지 소리를 높여 애곡하려 하는 자들이 그 밤을 저주하였더라면,
- 9 그 밤의 새벽녘의 별들이 어둡게 되었더라면, 그 밤이 빛을 바랄지라도 얻지 못하였더라면, 그 밤이 날이 새는 것을 보지 못하였더라면 좋았으리니
- 10 이는 그 밤이 내 어머니 태의 문들을 닫지 아니하고 내 눈에서 내 슬픔을 숨기지 아니하였기 때문이로다.
- 11 어찌하여 내가 태에서부터 죽지 아니하였던가? 어찌하여 내가 배에서 나올 때에 숨지지 아니하였던가?
- 12 어찌하여 무릎들이 먼저 가서 나를 받았던가? 어찌하여 젖가슴이 먼저 가서 내가 빨게 하였던가?
- 13 그리하지 아니하였더라면 이제는 내가 가만히 누워 평온히 지내고 잠들어 안식하였을 것이요,
- 14 자기를 위해 황폐한 거처를 세운 땅의 왕들과 조언자들과 함께 있었을 것이며
- 15 혹은 금을 가진 통치자들 곧 은으로 자기 집을 채운 자들과 함께 있었을 것이요,
- 16 혹은 남모르게 유산된 자같이 내가 존재하지도 아니하였겠고 전혀 빛을 보지 못한 어린 아기들 같았으리라.
- 17 거기서는 사악한 자가 소란을 그치고 거기서는 피곤한 자가 안식을 얻으며
- 18 거기서는 옥에 갇힌 자들이 함께 안식하고 또 학대하는 자의 음성을 듣지 아니하며
- 19 거기서는 작은 자와 큰 자가 함께 있고 종이 자기 주인에게서 떠나 자유를 누리느니라.
- 20 어찌하여 그분께서 고통 당하는 자에게 빛을 주셨으며 혼이 괴로운 자에게 생명을 주셨는가?
- 21 이러한 자들은 죽기를 갈망하나 죽음이 오지 아니하므로 땅을 파고 죽음을 구하기를 숨긴 보물을 구하는 것보다 더 하다가
- 22 무덤을 찾게 되면 심히 기뻐하고 즐거워하나니
- 23 하나님께서 둘러싸서 길을 숨기신 자에게 어찌하여 빛을 주셨는가?
- 24 나는 먹기도 전에 탄식하고 나의 울부짖음은 물들처럼 쏟아졌으며
- 25 내가 크게 두려워하던 것이 내게 임하였고 내가 무서워하던 것이 내게 이르렀도다.
- 26 내게는 안전도 없고 안식도 없고 평온함도 없었으되 고난이 임하였도다, 하니라.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
