1 Samuel 31
- 1 Ary ny Filistina niady tamin’ ny Isiraely, ary nandositra teo anoloan’ ny Filistina ny lehilahy amin’ ny Isiraely, ary niampatrampatra teny an-tendrombohitra Gilboa ny faty.
- 2 Ary ny Filistina nanenjika mafy an’ i Saoly sy ny zanany, ka matin’ ny Filistina Jonatana sy Abinadaba ary Malkisoa, zanak’ i Saoly.
- 3 Ary mafy ny ady tamin’ i Saoly, dia nifanehatra tamin’ ny mpandefa tsipìka izy; ary raiki-tahotra indrindra izy noho ny mpandefa tsipìka.
- 4 Ary hoy Saoly tamin’ ny mpitondra ny fiadiany: Tsoahy ny sabatrao, ka tsatohy miboroaka aho, fandrao avy irery tsy mifora irery ka hotsatohany miboroaka aho, dia hataony ho fihomehezana. Nefa tsy nety ny mpitondra ny fiadany, fa natahotra loatra izy. Dia nalain’ i Saoly ny sabatra ka nianjerany.
- 5 Ary rehefa hitan’ ny mpitondra ny fiadiany fa maty Saoly, dia mba nianjera tamin’ ny sabany koa izy ka niara-maty taminy.
- 6 Ka dia niara-maty androtrizay ihany Saoly sy ny zanany telo lahy sy ny mpitondra ny fiadiany ary ny olony rehetra.
- 7 Ary nony hitan’ ny lehilahy amin’ ny Isiraely teny an-dafin’ ny lohasaha sy teny an-dafin’ i Jordana fa nandositra ny lehilahy amin’ ny Isiraely, ary maty Saoly sy ny zanany, dia niala tao an-tanàna izy ka nandositra; ary dia tonga ny Filistina ka nonina tao.
- 8 Ary nony ampitso, raha tonga haka ny zavatra teo amin’ ny maty ny Filistina, dia nahita an’ i Saoly sy ny zanany telo lahy niampatrampatra teo an-tendrombohitra Gilboa izy.
- 9 Ary notapahiny ny lohany, sady nalainy ny fiadiany, ary dia naniraka tany amin’ ny tanin’ ny Filistina manodidina izy hanambara izany zavatra mahafaly izany ao amin’ ny tranon’ ny sampiny sy amin’ ny olona.
- 10 Dia napetrany tao amin’ ny tranon’ i Astarta ny fiadiany; ary ny fatiny nohomboany teo amin’ ny màndan’ i Beti-sana.
- 11 Ary nony ren’ ny mponina tany Jabesi-gileada izay nataon’ ny Filistina tamin’ i Saoly,
- 12 dia niainga ny lehilahy mahery rehetra ka nandeha mandritra ny alina ary naka ny fatin’ i Saoly sy ny fatin’ ny zanany teo amin’ ny màndan’ i Beti-sana; ary tonga tao Jabesy izy ka nandoro azy tao.
- 13 Ary nentiny ny taolany ka naleviny tao ambanin’ ilay hazo tamariska tao Jabesy, ary dia nifady hanina hafitoana izy.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
We're united in our mission to preserve the integrity and authenticity of the Bible text. If you have questions or require additional information, please use our support system. We're here to assist and will respond promptly.
Thank you for your understanding and for being an integral part of the getBible community.
