Genesis 9
- 1 하나님께서 노아와 그의 아들들에게 복을 주시며 그들에게 이르시되, 다산하고 번성하여 땅을 채우라.
- 2 땅의 모든 짐승과 공중의 모든 날짐승과 땅 위에서 움직이는 모든 것과 바다의 모든 물고기가 너희를 두려워하고 너희를 무서워하리니 내가 그것들을 너희 손에 넘겨주었노라.
- 3 살아서 움직이는 모든 것은 너희에게 먹을 것이 될 것이요, 푸른 채소와 같이 내가 모든 것을 너희에게 주었노라.
- 4 그러나 너희는 고기를 그것의 생명과 함께 곧 그것의 피와 함께 먹지 말지니라.
- 5 내가 반드시 너희 생명의 너희 피를 요구하리니 모든 짐승의 손에서 그것을 요구할 것이요, 사람의 손에서 곧 각 사람의 형제의 손에서 사람의 생명을 요구하리라.
- 6 누구든지 사람의 피를 흘리는 자는 사람에 의해 자기 피를 흘리리니 이는 하나님이 자신의 형상으로 사람을 만들었기 때문이니라.
- 7 너희는 다산하고 번성하며 땅에서 풍성히 내고 그 안에서 번성하라, 하시니라.
- 8 ¶하나님께서 노아와 그와 함께한 그의 아들들에게 말씀하여 이르시되,
- 9 보라, 나 곧 내가 내 언약을 세우되 너희와 너희 뒤를 이을 너희 씨와
- 10 너희와 함께하는 모든 살아 있는 창조물 즉 너희와 함께하는 날짐승과 가축과 땅의 모든 짐승과 더불어 세우리니 곧 방주에서 나가는 모든 것에서부터 땅의 모든 짐승에 이르기까지니라.
- 11 내가 너희와 더불어 내 언약을 세우리니 다시는 내가 모든 육체를 홍수의 물들로 멸하지 아니할 것이요, 또 땅을 멸할 홍수가 다시는 있지 아니하리라.
- 12 하나님께서 이르시되, 내가 나와 너희와 또 너희와 함께하는 모든 살아 있는 창조물 사이에 대대로 영구히 맺는 언약의 증표가 이것이니라.
- 13 내가 내 무지개를 구름 속에 두노니 그것이 나와 땅 사이에 맺은 언약의 증표가 되리라.
- 14 내가 구름을 가져다가 땅을 덮을 때에 무지개가 구름 속에서 보이면
- 15 내가 나와 너희와 또 모든 육체의 모든 살아 있는 창조물 사이에 맺은 내 언약을 기억하리니 다시는 물들이 모든 육체를 멸하는 홍수가 되지 아니하리라.
- 16 무지개가 구름 속에 있으리니 내가 그것을 보고 하나님과 땅 위에 있는 모든 육체의 모든 살아 있는 창조물 사이에 맺은 영존하는 언약을 기억하리라.
- 17 하나님께서 노아에게 이르시되, 이것이 내가 나와 땅 위에 있는 모든 육체 사이에 세운 언약의 증표라, 하셨더라.
- 18 ¶방주에서 나아간 노아의 아들들은 셈과 함과 야벳이었는데 함은 가나안의 아버지니라.
- 19 이들은 노아의 세 아들인데 그들로부터 난 자들이 온 땅에 퍼지니라.
- 20 노아가 농부가 되기 시작하여 포도원을 세우고
- 21 포도주를 마신 뒤 취하여 자기 장막 안에서 벌거벗은 채 있었더니
- 22 가나안의 아버지 함이 자기 아버지의 벌거벗은 것을 보고 밖에 있던 자기의 두 형제에게 고하매
- 23 셈과 야벳이 옷을 취하여 자기들의 어깨에 올려놓고 뒷걸음쳐 들어가 자기들의 아버지의 벌거벗은 것을 덮었더라. 그들의 얼굴이 뒤를 향하였으므로 그들이 자기들의 아버지의 벌거벗은 것을 보지 아니하였더라.
- 24 노아가 포도주에서 깨어나 자기의 작은아들이 자기에게 행한 일을 알고
- 25 이르되, 가나안은 저주를 받을 것이요, 그의 형제들에게 종들의 종이 될 것이니라, 하고
- 26 또 이르되, 주 곧 셈의 하나님을 찬송하리로다. 가나안은 그의 종이 될 것이요,
- 27 하나님께서 야벳을 크게 만드시리니 그가 셈의 장막들에 거하며 가나안은 그의 종이 될 것이니라, 하였더라.
- 28 ¶홍수 이후에 노아가 삼백오십 년을 사니라.
- 29 노아의 전 생애가 구백오십 년이었으며 그가 죽으니라.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
