Genesis 3
- 1 이제 뱀은 주 하나님께서 만드신 들의 어떤 짐승보다 더 간교하더라. 그가 여자에게 이르되, 참으로 하나님께서 말씀하시기를, 너희는 동산의 모든 나무에서 나는 것을 먹지 말라, 하시더냐? 하니
- 2 여자가 뱀에게 이르되, 우리가 동산의 나무들의 열매는 먹어도 되나
- 3 동산의 한가운데 있는 나무의 열매에 관하여는 하나님께서 이르시되, 너희는 그것을 먹지도 말고 만지지도 말라. 너희가 죽을까 염려하노라, 하셨느니라, 하매
- 4 뱀이 여자에게 이르되, 너희가 절대로 죽지 아니하리라.
- 5 너희가 그것을 먹는 날에 너희 눈이 열리고 너희가 신들과 같이 되어 선악을 알 줄을 하나님이 아시느니라, 하니라.
- 6 여자가 보니 그 나무가 먹기에 좋고 눈으로 보기에 아름다우며 사람을 지혜롭게 할 만큼 탐스러운 나무이므로 그녀가 그 나무의 열매를 따서 먹고 자기와 함께한 자기 남편에게도 주매 그가 먹으니라.
- 7 그들 두 사람의 눈이 열리매 그들이 자기들이 벌거벗은 줄을 알고는 무화과나무 잎을 함께 엮어 자기들을 위해 앞치마를 만들었더라.
- 8 그들이 그 날 서늘한 때에 동산에서 거니시는 주 하나님의 음성을 듣고 아담과 그의 아내가 주 하나님 앞을 떠나 동산의 나무들 가운데 숨으매
- 9 주 하나님께서 아담을 부르시며 그에게 이르시되, 네가 어디 있느냐? 하시니
- 10 그가 이르되, 내가 동산에서 하나님의 음성을 듣고 벌거벗었으므로 두려워하여 숨었나이다, 하거늘
- 11 그분께서 이르시되, 네가 벌거벗은 것을 누가 네게 알려 주었느냐? 내가 네게 먹지 말라고 명령한 그 나무에서 나는 것을 네가 먹었느냐? 하시니
- 12 남자가 이르되, 하나님께서 나와 함께 있으라고 주신 여자 곧 그녀가 그 나무에서 나는 것을 내게 주므로 내가 먹었나이다, 하매
- 13 주 하나님께서 여자에게 이르시되, 네가 행한 이 일이 도대체 무엇이냐? 하니 여자가 이르되, 뱀이 나를 속이므로 내가 먹었나이다, 하니라.
- 14 주 하나님께서 뱀에게 이르시되, 네가 이 일을 행하였으니 네가 모든 가축과 들의 모든 짐승보다 더 저주를 받아 배로 다니고 평생토록 흙을 먹을지니라.
- 15 내가 너와 여자 사이에 또 네 씨와 그녀의 씨 사이에 적개심을 두리니 그 씨는 네 머리를 상하게 할 것이요, 너는 그의 발꿈치를 상하게 할 것이니라, 하시고
- 16 여자에게 이르시되, 내가 네 고통과 수태를 크게 늘리리니 네가 고통 중에 자식을 낳을 것이요, 또 너의 열망이 네 남편에게 있겠고 그가 너를 다스릴 것이니라, 하시고
- 17 아담에게 이르시되, 네가 네 아내의 음성에 귀를 기울이고 내가 네게 명령하여 이르기를, 너는 그것에서 나는 것은 먹지 말라, 하고 말한 그 나무에서 나는 것을 먹었은즉 땅은 너로 인하여 저주를 받았고 너는 평생토록 고통 중에 땅의 소산을 먹으리라.
- 18 또한 땅이 네게 가시덤불과 엉겅퀴를 내리라. 네가 들의 채소를 먹으며
- 19 땅으로 돌아갈 때까지 네 얼굴에 땀을 흘려야 빵을 먹으리니 이는 네가 땅에서 취하여졌기 때문이라. 너는 흙이니 흙으로 돌아갈 것이니라, 하시니라.
- 20 아담이 자기 아내의 이름을 이브라 하였으니 이는 그녀가 모든 산 자의 어머니였기 때문이더라.
- 21 주 하나님께서 또한 아담과 그의 아내에게 가죽옷을 만들어 입히시니라.
- 22 ¶주 하나님께서 이르시되, 보라, 남자가 우리 중의 하나같이 되어 선악을 알게 되었도다. 이제 그가 자기 손을 들어 생명나무에서 나는 것도 따서 먹고 영원히 살까 염려하노라, 하시고
- 23 그런 까닭에 주 하나님께서 에덴의 동산에서 그를 내보내사 그의 출처가 된 땅을 갈게 하시니라.
- 24 이같이 그분께서 그 남자를 쫓아내시고 에덴의 동산 동쪽에 그룹들과 사방으로 도는 불타는 칼을 두어 생명나무의 길을 지키게 하시니라.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
