Jeremiah 8
- 1 خداوند می فرماید: «در آن وقت دشمنان استخوانهای پادشاهان یهودا را با استخوانهای بزرگان، کاهنان، انبیاء و اهالی اورشلیم از قبرهای شان بیرون می آورند،
- 2 و بروی زمین در مقابل آفتاب، مهتاب و ستارگان که معبود و معشوق شان بودند و از آن ها پیروی می نمودند، پهن می کنند. به عوض اینکه آن استخوانها جمع شده دفن شوند، مثل پارو بروی زمین باقی می مانند.
- 3 کسانی که از این قوم فاسد زنده بمانند به هر جائی که آن ها را پراگنده سازم، مرگ را بر زندگی ترجیح خواهند داد.» خداوند قادر مطلق چنین فرموده است.
- 4 به آن ها بگو که خداوند چنین می فرماید: «کسی که می افتد، آیا دوباره بر نمی خیزد؟ کسی که به راه غلط می رود، آیا دوباره براه راست بر نمی گردد؟
- 5 پس چرا این مردم گمراه شده اند، از فریبکاری دست نمی کشند و بسوی من بر نمی گردند؟
- 6 من بدقت به سخنان آن ها گوش دادم، اما از آن ها یک حرف راست هم نشنیدم. هیچ کسی از گناه خود توبه نمی کند. می گوید: «من چه گناه کرده ام؟» مانند اسپی که به میدان جنگ می رود، همگی براه غلط خود شان روان هستند.
- 7 حتی لگ لگ زمان بازگشت خود را می داند. فاخته و غُچی و کلنگ هم می دانند که در کدام موسم سال کوچ کنند، اما قوم برگزیدۀ من از قوانین من خبر ندارند.
- 8 چطور می گوئید: «ما همه مردم فهمیده هستیم و احکام خداوند را می دانیم،» در حالیکه علمای مذهبی شما احکام مرا به غلط تعبیر کرده اند؟
- 9 کسانی که دعوای حکمت می کنند خجل و رسوا و گرفتار می شوند. آن ها کلام مرا رد کرده اند، پس آن ها چه حکمت دارند؟
- 10 بنابران، زنان شان را به دیگران می دهم و مزارع آن ها را به بیگانگان می بخشم، زیرا همۀ آن ها، از خورد تا بزرگ طمع کار اند. حتی کار انبیاء و کاهنان هم دروغ و فریب است.
- 11 زخمهای قوم برگزیدۀ مرا سطحی دانسته و مداوا نکردند. به آن ها وعدۀ سلامتی می دهند، در حالیکه سلامتی وجود ندارد.
- 12 آن ها به کارهای شرم آور دست زدند و بت ها را پرستیدند، اما خجالت نکشیدند و حیا نکردند، بنابران، من آن ها را جزا می دهم تا بمیرند و در بین کشته شدگان بیفتند.»
- 13 خداوند می فرماید: «من آن ها را با تمام محصول زمین شان بکلی نابود می کنم که دیگر نه انگور در تاک و نه انجیر در درخت دیده شود. حتی برگها هم خشک می گردند و هر چیزی را که به آن ها داده ام، پس می گیرم.»
- 14 آن ها می گویند: «چرا اینجا آرام بنشینیم؟ بیائید به شهرهای مستحکم برویم و در آنجا هلاک شویم، چونکه خداوند، خدای ما، ما را محکوم به مرگ کرده است و جام زهر را به ما داده است که بنوشیم. زیرا ما در برابر خداوند گناه کرده ایم.
- 15 در انتظار صلح بودیم، اما خیری ندیدیم. توقع بهبودی را داشتیم، اما وحشت نصیب ما شد.
- 16 صدای اسپان دشمن از دان شنیده می شود و شیهۀ اسپان قوی آن ها تمام زمین را بلرزه آورده اند. آن ها می آیند تا این سرزمین را با هر چیزیکه در آن است از بین ببرند و شهرهای آنرا با تمام ساکنین شان نابود کنند.»
- 17 خداوند می فرماید: «من مارهای سمی را که نمی توانید افسون کنید، به جان تان می فرستم تا شما را بگزند.»
- 18 خوشی از من فرار کرده و جای آنرا غم و اندوه گرفته است.
- 19 بشنوید، صدای نالۀ قوم بیچارۀ من از دور و نزدیکِ به گوش این سرزمین می رسد. آن ها می پرسند: «آیا خداوند در سهیون نیست؟ مگر پادشاهش آنجا را ترک کرده است؟» خداوند جواب می دهد: «چرا با پرستش بتهای مردم بیگانه خشم مرا برانگیختید؟»
- 20 مردم می گویند: «موسم درو گذشت، تابستان به آخر رسید، ولی ما نجات نیافتیم.»
- 21 بخاطریکه قوم بیچارۀ من غم و اندوه دارند، دل من هم از غم پُر است. ماتم گرفته ام و حیران مانده ام.
- 22 آیا مرهمی در جلعاد وجود ندارد؟ آیا طبیبی در آنجا نیست؟ پس چرا قوم من تداوی نمی شوند و شفا نمی یابند؟

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
