1 Thessalonians 2
- 1 خود شما ای برادران می دانید که آمدن ما نزد شما بی نتیجه نبود.
- 2 برعکس، پس از آن همه بدرفتاری و تهمتی که در شهر فیلپی دیدیم (چنان که اطلاع دارید) و با وجود مخالفت های شدید، با کمک خدا دل و جرأت یافتیم که انجیل خدا را به شما برسانیم.
- 3 البته اصرار ما به این که به انجیل ایمان آورید بر پایۀ خیالات باطل و یا اغراض ناپاک نبود و ما کوشش نمی کردیم کسی را فریب دهیم،
- 4 اما چون خدا ما را لایق دانست و انتشار انجیل را به عهدۀ ما گذاشت، ما سخن می گوئیم. منظور ما جلب رضایت انسان نیست، بلکه ما می خواهیم خدایی را خشنود کنیم که دل های ما را پیوسته می آزماید.
- 5 شما خوب می دانید که ما هرگز چاپلوسی نکرده ایم و سخنان ما دستاویزی برای جلب منفعت شخصی نبود ـ خدا شاهد ماست.
- 6 و به هیچ وجه ما جویای احترام و ستایش مردم ـ خواه شما و خواه دیگران ـ نبودیم
- 7 اگرچه ما به عنوان رسولان مسیح حقی به گردن شما داشتیم، ولی از حق خود استفاده نکردیم بلکه برعکس ما مانند مادری که فرزندان خود را پرورش می دهد با شما به ملایمت رفتار کردیم
- 8 و با احساسات و علاقه ای که نسبت به شما داشتیم، حاضر بودیم نه فقط انجیل خدا را به شما برسانیم، بلکه جان خود را نیز در راه شما فدا سازیم، چون شما برای ما بسیار عزیز بودید!
- 9 ای برادران، به خاطر دارید که ما چگونه کار می کردیم و زحمت می کشیدیم و شب و روز مشغول کار بودیم تا در موقع اعلام انجیل خدا در میان شما بر هیچ کس بار نشویم.
- 10 هم شما شاهد هستید و هم خدا که رفتار ما نسبت به شما ایمانداران تا چه اندازه پاک، درست و بی عیب بود.
- 11 شما خوب می دانید که رفتار ما با فرد فرد شما درست مانند رفتار یک پدر با فرزندان خود بود.
- 12 ما شما را نصیحت می کردیم، دلداری می دادیم و موظف می ساختیم که زندگی و رفتار شما پسندیدۀ خدا باشد، آن خدایی که شما را به پادشاهی و جلال خود دعوت می کند.
- 13 پیوسته خدا را برای این نیز شکر می کنم که وقتی پیام خدا را از ما شنیدید، آن را به عنوان پیامی از جانب بشر نپذیرفتید، بلکه آن را از طرف خدا دانستید و در حقیقت همین طور هم هست و اکنون در میان شما ایمانداران عمل می کند.
- 14 ای برادران، شما درست به همان راهی می روید که کلیساهای یهودیه در پیوستگی با مسیح عیسی خداوند رفته اند، زیرا شما از هموطنان خود همان زحماتی را دیده اید که آنها از یهودیان دیدند
- 15 ـ یهودیانی که هم عیسی خداوند و هم انبیاء را کشتند و ما را بیرون راندند ـ آن ها خدا را خشنود نمی سازند و با همۀ مردم دشمنی می کنند.
- 16 آن ها حتی نمی گذارند که ما با مردم غیر یهود صحبت کنیم تا ایشان نجات یابند. به این ترتیب آن ها دائماً پیمانۀ گناهان خود را پُر می سازند، ولی غضب خدا سرانجام آنها را گرفتار کرده است.
- 17 اما ای برادران، چون برای مدت کوتاهی (البته جسماً، نه قلباً) از شما دور بودیم، اکنون با علاقۀ بیشتری شوق دیدن شما را داریم.
- 18 بلی، می خواستیم پیش شما بیائیم و من پولُس، یکی دو بار خواستم بیایم، اما شیطان مانع ما می شد.
- 19 برای ما چه امیدی یا شادمانی ای یا تاج افتخاری در حضور خداوند ما عیسی مسیح به هنگام آمدن او وجود دارد؟ مگر شما نیستید؟
- 20 البته مایۀ افتخار و شادمانی ما شما هستید!

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
