Proverbs 26
- 1 어리석은 자에게는 명예가 어울리지 아니하니 그것은 마치 여름의 눈 같고 수확 때의 비 같으니라.
- 2 까닭 없는 저주는 떠도는 새와 날아가는 제비처럼 임하지 아니하리로다.
- 3 말에게는 채찍이요, 나귀에게는 재갈이며 어리석은 자의 등에는 회초리니라.
- 4 어리석은 자의 어리석은 것을 따라서 그에게 대답하지 말라. 너도 그와 같을까 염려하노라.
- 5 어리석은 자의 어리석은 것을 따라서 그에게 대답하라. 그가 스스로 지혜롭게 여길까 염려하노라.
- 6 어리석은 자의 손에 소식을 보내는 자는 발을 베어 내고 손해를 마시느니라.
- 7 저는 자의 다리가 같지 아니한 것처럼 어리석은 자들의 입의 비유도 그러하니라.
- 8 어리석은 자에게 명예를 주는 자는 무릿매에 돌을 매어 주는 자 같으니라.
- 9 가시나무가 술 취한 자의 손으로 들어가는 것처럼 어리석은 자들의 입의 비유도 그러하니라.
- 10 모든 것을 조성하신 위대한 하나님은 어리석은 자에게도 보응하시고 범법자들에게도 보응하시느니라.
- 11 개가 자기의 토한 것으로 돌아가는 것 같이 어리석은 자도 자기의 어리석은 짓으로 돌아가느니라.
- 12 네가 스스로 지혜롭게 여기는 자를 보느냐? 그보다는 오히려 어리석은 자에게 더 소망이 있느니라.
- 13 게으른 자는 말하기를, 길에 사자가 있다. 거리에 사자가 있다, 하느니라.
- 14 문짝이 자기의 돌쩌귀 위에서 도는 것 같이 게으른 자도 자기 침상 위에서 도느니라.
- 15 게으른 자는 자기 손을 품에 감추고 그것을 다시 자기 입으로 가져가는 것을 괴로워하느니라.
- 16 게으른 자는 이유를 댈 수 있는 일곱 사람보다 자기를 더 지혜롭게 여기느니라.
- 17 지나가다가 자기에게 속하지 않은 다툼에 개입하는 자는 개의 귀를 잡는 자와 같으니라.
- 18 미친 사람이 횃불과 화살과 죽음을 던지는 것 같이
- 19 자기 이웃을 속이고 말하기를, 내가 장난하지 아니하였느냐? 하는 자도 그러하니라.
- 20 나무가 없는 곳에서는 불이 꺼지는 것 같이 소문을 퍼뜨리는 자가 없는 곳에서는 다툼이 그치느니라.
- 21 타오르는 숯에 숯을 더하는 것과 불에 나무를 더하는 것 같이 논쟁하기 좋아하는 자는 다툼을 일으키느니라.
- 22 소문을 퍼뜨리는 자의 말들은 상처들과 같아서 배 속의 가장 안쪽 부분들로 내려가느니라.
- 23 불타는 입술과 사악한 마음은 은 찌꺼기를 입힌 질그릇 조각 같으니라.
- 24 미워하는 자는 자기 입술로 시치미를 떼고 자기 속에 속임수를 쌓아 두나니
- 25 그가 좋게 말할지라도 그의 말을 믿지 말라. 그의 마음속에 일곱 가지 가증한 것이 있느니라.
- 26 그가 속임수로 자기의 미움을 감춘다 하여도 그의 사악함은 온 회중 앞에 드러나리라.
- 27 누구든지 구덩이를 파는 자는 그 안에 빠질 것이요, 돌을 굴리는 자는 그 돌이 그에게 되돌아오리라.
- 28 거짓말하는 혀는 그 혀로 인해 고난 받는 자들을 미워하고 아첨하는 입은 패망을 이루느니라.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
