- 1 그 뒤에 모세와 아론이 들어가 파라오에게 고하되, 주 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 내 백성을 가게 하여 그들이 광야에서 나를 위해 명절을 지키게 하라, 하니
- 2 파라오가 이르되, 주가 누구이기에 내가 그의 음성에 순종하여 이스라엘을 가게 하겠느냐? 나는 주를 알지 못하며 이스라엘도 가게 하지 아니하리라, 하매
- 3 그들이 이르되, 히브리 사람들의 하나님께서 우리를 만나셨은즉 원하건대 우리가 사흘 길쯤 사막으로 가서 주 우리 하나님께 희생물을 드리게 하소서. 그분께서 역병이나 칼로 우리를 덮치실까 염려하나이다, 하니
- 4 이집트 왕이 그들에게 이르되, 모세와 아론아, 너희가 어찌하여 백성으로 하여금 그들의 일을 하지 못하게 하느냐? 너희는 가서 너희의 짐이나 지라, 하고
- 5 또 파라오가 이르되, 보라, 이제 이 땅의 백성이 많거늘 너희가 그들을 그들의 짐에서 벗어나게 하여 쉬게 하는도다, 하니라.
- 6 파라오가 바로 그 날 백성의 작업 감독들과 그들의 직무 수행자들에게 명령하여 이르되,
- 7 너희는 이전과 같이 벽돌을 만드는 데 필요한 짚을 백성에게 더 이상 주지 말고 그들이 가서 스스로 짚을 거두게 하며
- 8 또 그들이 지금까지 만든 벽돌의 수효대로 그들에게 부과하고 거기서 조금도 줄이지 말라. 그들이 게으르므로 소리 질러 이르기를, 우리가 가서 우리 하나님께 희생물을 드리자, 하나니
- 9 그 사람들에게 더 많은 일을 주고 그들이 그 일로 수고하게 하여 헛된 말에 주의를 기울이지 못하게 할지니라, 하였더라.
- 10 ¶백성의 작업 감독들과 그들의 직무 수행자들이 나가서 백성에게 말하여 이르되, 파라오가 이같이 말씀하시느니라. 내가 너희에게 짚을 주지 아니하리니
- 11 너희는 짚을 찾을 수 있는 곳으로 가서 주우라. 그러나 너희 일은 조금도 줄이지 아니하리라, 하매
- 12 이에 백성이 이집트 온 땅에 두루 널리 흩어져 짚 대신에 곡초 그루터기를 거두니라.
- 13 작업 감독들이 그들을 재촉하여 이르되, 너희는 짚이 있었을 때와 같이 너희 일 곧 너희의 당일 작업을 완수하라, 하고
- 14 파라오의 작업 감독들이 이스라엘 자손 위에 세운 자들 곧 그들의 직무 수행자들을 때리며 요구하되, 너희가 어찌하여 어제와 오늘 벽돌 만드는 작업을 이전과 같이 다 마치지 아니하였느냐? 하니라.
- 15 ¶이에 이스라엘 자손의 직무 수행자들이 가서 파라오에게 부르짖으며 이르되, 왕께서는 어찌하여 왕의 종들을 이같이 대하시나이까?
- 16 그들이 왕의 종들에게 짚을 전혀 주지 아니하고 우리에게, 벽돌을 만들라, 하나이다. 보소서, 왕의 종들이 매를 맞으오나 이 잘못은 왕의 백성에게 있나이다, 하니라.
- 17 그러나 그가 이르되, 너희가 게으르다. 너희가 게으르다. 그러므로 너희가 이르기를, 우리가 가서 주께 희생물을 드리자, 하는도다.
- 18 그러므로 이제 가서 일하라. 너희에게 짚은 전혀 주지 아니할지라도 너희가 지정된 수효의 벽돌을 넘겨주어야 하리라.
- 19 이스라엘 자손의 직무 수행자들이, 너희는 너희의 당일 작업 벽돌 수효를 조금도 줄이지 말라, 함을 듣고 자기들이 악한 상황에 빠진 줄을 깨달으니라.
- 20 ¶그들이 파라오를 떠나 나올 때에 길에 서 있던 모세와 아론을 만나
- 21 그들에게 이르되, 너희가 우리의 향기를 파라오의 눈과 그의 신하들의 눈에 혐오거리로 만들었고 또 그들의 손에 칼을 주어 우리를 죽이게 하였은즉 주께서 너희를 보시고 판단하시기를 원하노라, 하니
- 22 모세가 주께 돌아와 아뢰되, 주여, 어찌하여 이 백성을 이같이 악하게 다루셨나이까? 어찌하여 나를 보내셨나이까?
- 23 내가 파라오에게 가서 주의 이름으로 말한 때부터 그가 이 백성에게 악을 행하였으며 또 주께서도 주의 백성을 전혀 건져 내지 아니하셨나이다, 하니라.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
