1 Samuel 10
- 1 그때에 사무엘이 기름 한 병을 취하여 그의 머리에 붓고 그에게 입을 맞추며 이르되, 그것은 주께서 네게 기름을 부으사 자신의 상속 백성을 다스릴 대장으로 삼으셨기 때문이 아니냐?
- 2 네가 오늘 나를 떠나가다가 셀사에서 베냐민의 경계에 있는 라헬의 돌무덤 옆에서 두 사람을 만나리니 그들이 네게 이르기를, 네가 찾으러 갔던 나귀들을 찾았느니라. 보라, 네 아버지가 나귀들 걱정은 그치셨으나 너희로 인해 슬퍼하며 이르되, 내 아들을 위하여 내가 어떻게 하리요? 하더라, 할 것이요,
- 3 그 뒤에 네가 거기서 더 나아가 다볼 평야에 이르면 하나님께 가려고 벧엘로 올라가는 세 사람이 거기서 너를 만나리니 한 사람은 염소 새끼 세 마리를 가지고 가고 다른 사람은 빵 세 개를 가지고 가며 또 다른 사람은 포도즙 한 부대를 가지고 가리라.
- 4 그들이 네게 문안하고 빵 두 개를 네게 주겠고 너는 그들의 손에서 그것을 받으리라.
- 5 그 뒤에 네가 하나님의 산에 이르리니 그곳에는 블레셋 사람들의 수비대가 있느니라. 네가 거기로 가서 그 도시에 이를 때에 비파와 작은북과 피리와 하프를 앞세우고 산당에서 내려오는 대언자들의 무리를 만날 것이요, 그들이 대언하리라.
- 6 또 주의 영께서 네게 임하시리니 너도 그들과 함께 대언을 하고 다른 사람으로 변하리라.
- 7 이런 표적들이 네게 임하거든 너는 기회가 생기는 대로 행하라. 하나님께서 너와 함께하시느니라.
- 8 또한 너는 나보다 앞서 길갈로 내려가라. 보라, 내가 네게로 내려가 번제 헌물을 드리고 화평 헌물의 희생물을 희생시켜 드리리니 내가 네게 가서 네가 행할 일을 네게 보여 줄 때까지 너는 이레 동안 기다리라, 하니라.
- 9 ¶이에 그가 등을 돌려 사무엘에게서 떠나가려 할 때에 하나님께서 그에게 다른 마음을 주셨으며 그 날에 그 모든 표적들이 이루어지니라.
- 10 그들이 저쪽에 있는 산에 이를 때에, 보라, 대언자들의 무리가 그를 맞이하고 하나님의 영께서 그에게 임하시매 그가 그들 가운데서 대언을 하니라.
- 11 예전에 그를 알던 모든 사람들이 보니, 보라, 그가 대언자들 가운데서 대언을 하므로 이에 백성이 서로 이르되, 기스의 아들에게 임한 이 일이 도대체 무엇이냐? 사울도 대언자들 가운데 있느냐? 하고
- 12 같은 장소의 한 사람은 대답하여 이르되, 그런데 그들의 아버지가 누구냐? 하니라. 그러므로 그것이 속담이 되어, 사울도 대언자들 가운데 있느냐? 하였더라.
- 13 그가 대언하기를 마치고 산당으로 가니라.
- 14 ¶사울의 삼촌이 그와 그의 종에게 이르되, 너희가 어디로 갔었느냐? 하니 그가 이르되, 나귀들을 찾다가 그것들이 아무 데도 없음을 우리가 보고 사무엘에게 갔었나이다, 하매
- 15 사울의 삼촌이 이르되, 원하노니 사무엘이 너희에게 이른 것을 내게 고하라, 하매
- 16 사울이 자기 삼촌에게 이르되, 그가 나귀들을 찾았다고 우리에게 분명히 말하더이다, 하고 사무엘이 말한 왕국의 일은 그에게 고하지 아니하니라.
- 17 ¶사무엘이 백성을 불러 미스바로 주께로 함께 오게 하고
- 18 이스라엘 자손에게 이르되, 주 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이같이 말씀하시기를, 내가 이스라엘을 이집트에서 데리고 올라오고 너희를 이집트 사람들의 손과 모든 왕국의 손과 너희를 학대하던 자들의 손에서 건져 내었느니라, 하시거니와
- 19 이 날 너희는 너희의 모든 곤경과 환난으로부터 너희를 친히 구원하여 내신 너희 하나님을 버리고 그분께 이르기를, 아니니이다. 오직 우리를 다스릴 왕을 세우소서, 하였도다. 그런즉 이제 너희 지파들대로 수천 명씩 너희 자신을 주 앞에 보이라, 하고
- 20 사무엘이 이스라엘의 모든 지파를 가까이 오게 하였더니 베냐민 지파가 뽑혔고
- 21 또 그가 베냐민 지파를 그들의 가족대로 가까이 오게 하였더니 마드리의 가족이 뽑혔으며 기스의 아들 사울이 뽑혔으나 그들이 그를 찾아도 발견하지 못하니라.
- 22 그러므로 그 사람이 거기에 왔는지 그들이 또 주께 여쭈니 주께서 대답하시되, 보라, 그가 물건들 사이에 숨었느니라, 하시니라.
- 23 그들이 달려가 거기서 그를 데려오매 그가 백성 가운데 서니 그는 백성 중의 어떤 사람보다 자기 어깨로부터 위만큼 키가 더 크더라.
- 24 사무엘이 온 백성에게 이르되, 너희가 주께서 택하신 자를 보느냐? 온 백성 가운데 그와 같은 자가 없느니라, 하니 온 백성이 외치며 이르되, 국왕 폐하 만세, 하니라.
- 25 이에 사무엘이 왕국의 규범을 백성에게 말하고 책에 그것을 기록하여 주 앞에 두고 온 백성을 각각 자기 집으로 보내니라.
- 26 ¶사울도 기브아에 있던 집으로 갔으며 하나님께서 마음을 감동시킨 사람들의 무리가 그와 함께 갔더라.
- 27 그러나 벨리알의 자손들은 이르되, 이 사람이 어떻게 우리를 구원하겠느냐? 하고 그를 멸시하며 그에게 예물을 가져오지 아니하였으나 그는 잠잠하였더라.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
