- 1 主、おのれの弟子を造り、之にバプテスマを施すこと、ヨハネよりも多しと、パリサイ人に聞えたるを知り給ひし時、
- 2 （その實イエス自らバプテスマを施ししにあらず、その弟子たちなり）
- 3 ユダヤを去りて復ガリラヤに往き給ふ。
- 4 サマリヤを經ざるを得ず。
- 5 サマリヤのスカルといふ町にいたり給へるが、この町はヤコブその子ヨセフに與へし土地に近くして、
- 6 此處にヤコブの泉あり。イエス旅路に疲れて泉の傍らに坐し給ふ、時は第六 時 頃なりき。
- 7 サマリヤの或 女、水を汲まんとて來りたれば、イエス之に『われに飮ませよ』と言ひたまふ。
- 8 弟子たちは食物を買はんとて町にゆきしなり。
- 9 サマリヤの女いふ『なんぢはユダヤ人なるに、如何なればサマリヤの女なる我に、飮むことを求むるか』これはユダヤ人とサマリヤ人とは交りせぬ故なり。
- 10 イエス答へて言ひ給ふ『なんぢ若し神の賜物を知り、また「我に飮ませよ」といふ者の誰なるを知りたらんには、之に求めしならん、さらば汝に活ける水を與へしものを』
- 11 女いふ『主よ、なんぢは汲む物を持たず、井は深し、その活ける水は何處より得しぞ。
- 12 汝はこの井を我らに與へし我らの父ヤコブよりも大なるか、彼も、その子らも、その家畜も、これより飮みたり』
- 13 イエス答へて言ひ給ふ『すべて此の水をのむ者は、また渇かん。
- 14 されど我があたふる水を飮む者は、永遠に渇くことなし。わが與ふる水は彼の中にて泉となり、永遠の生命の水 湧きいづべし』
- 15 女いふ『主よ、わが渇くことなく、又ここに汲みに來ぬために、その水を我にあたへよ』
- 16 イエス言ひ給ふ『ゆきて夫をここに呼びきたれ』
- 17 女こたへて言ふ『われに夫なし』イエス言ひ給ふ『夫なしといふは宜なり。
- 18 夫は五 人までありしが、今ある者はなんぢの夫にあらず。無しと云へるは眞なり』
- 19 女いふ『主よ、我なんぢを預言者とみとむ。
- 20 我らの先祖たちは此の山にて拜したるに、汝らは拜すべき處をエルサレムなりと言ふ』
- 21 イエス言ひ給ふ『をんなよ、我が言ふことを信ぜよ、此の山にもエルサレムにもあらで、汝ら父を拜する時きたるなり。
- 22 汝らは知らぬ者を拜し、我らは知る者を拜す、救はユダヤ人より出づればなり。
- 23 されど眞の禮拜者の、靈と眞とをもて父を拜する時きたらん、今すでに來れり。父はかくのごとく拜する者を求めたまふ。
- 24 神は靈なれば、拜する者も靈と眞とをもて拜すべきなり』
- 25 女いふ『我はキリストと稱ふるメシヤの來ることを知る、彼きたらば諸般のことを我らに告げん』
- 26 イエス言ひ給ふ『なんぢと語る我はそれなり』
- 27 時に弟子たち歸りきたりて、女と語り給ふを怪しみたれど、何を求め給ふか、何 故かれと語り給ふかと問ふもの誰もなし。
- 28 ここに女その水瓶を遺しおき、町にゆきて人々にいふ、
- 29 『來りて見よ、わが爲しし事をことごとく我に告げし人を。この人あるいはキリストならんか』
- 30 人々 町を出でてイエスの許にゆく。
- 31 この間に弟子たち請ひて言ふ『ラビ、食し給へ』
- 32 イエス言ひたまふ『我には汝らの知らぬ我が食する食物あり』
- 33 弟子たち互にいふ『たれか食する物を持ち來りしか』
- 34 イエス言ひ給ふ『われを遣し給へる物の御意を行ひ、その御業をなし遂ぐるは、是わが食物なり。
- 35 なんぢら收穫時の來るには、なほ四月ありと言はずや。我なんぢらに告ぐ、目をあげて畑を見よ、はや黄ばみて收穫時になれり。
- 36 刈る者は價を受けて永遠の生命の實を集む。播く者と刈る者とともに喜ばん爲なり。
- 37 俚諺に、彼は播き此は刈るといへるは、斯において眞なり。
- 38 我なんぢらを遣して、勞せざりしものを刈らしむ。他の人々さきに勞し、汝らはその勞を收むるなり』
- 39 此の町の多くのサマリヤ人、女の『わが爲しし事をことごとく告げし』と證したる言によりてイエスを信じたり。
- 40 かくてサマリヤ人 御許にきたりて、此の町に留らんことを請ひたれば、此處に二日とどまり給ふ。
- 41 御言によりて猶もおほくの人 信じたり。
- 42 かくて女に言ふ『今われらの信ずるは、汝のかたる言によるにあらず、親しく聽きて、これは眞に世の救主なりと知りたる故なり』
- 43 二日の後、イエスここを去りてガリラヤに往き給ふ。
- 44 イエス自ら證して、預言者は己が郷にて尊ばるる事なしと言ひ給へり。
- 45 かくてガリラヤに往き給へば、ガリラヤ人これを迎へたり。前に彼らも祭に上り、その祭の時にエルサレムにて行ひ給ひし事を見たる故なり。
- 46 イエス復ガリラヤのカナに往き給ふ、ここは前に水を葡萄酒になし給ひし處なり。時に王の近臣あり、その子カペナウムにて病みゐたれば、
- 47 イエスのユダヤよりガリラヤに來り給へるを聞き、御許にゆきて、カペナウムに下りその子を醫し給はんことを請ふ、子は死ぬばかりなりしなり。
- 48 ここにイエス言ひ給ふ『なんぢら徴と不思議とを見ずば、信ぜじ』
- 49 近臣いふ『主よ、わが子の死なぬ間に下り給へ』
- 50 イエス言ひ給ふ『かへれ、汝の子は生くるなり』彼はイエスの言ひ給ひしことを信じて歸りしが、
- 51 下る途中、僕ども往き遇ひて、その子の生きたることを告ぐ。
- 52 その癒えはじめし時を問ひしに『昨日の第七 時に熱 去れり』といふ。
- 53 父その時の、イエスが『なんぢの子は生くるなり』と言ひ給ひし時と同じきを知り、而して己も家の者もみな信じたり。
- 54 是はイエス、ユダヤよりガリラヤに往きて爲し給へる第二の徴なり。

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
