- 1 維時、約書亞召流便人、迦得人、及瑪拿西半支派人、
- 2 告之曰、耶和華僕摩西所命、爾悉遵守、我之所命、爾亦聽從、
- 3 至今日久、不離爾兄弟、且守爾上帝耶和華所命、
- 4 今爾上帝耶和華踐其前言、使爾兄弟得其綏安、爾可返幕、在約但東、耶和華僕摩西所賜爾爲業之地、
- 5 惟當謹愼、遵行耶和華僕摩西所諭爾之誡命法度、愛爾上帝耶和華、悉從其道、盡守其誡、一心一意附而事之、
- 6 於是約書亞爲之祝嘏、而遣之往、遂歸其幕、○
- 7 昔摩西在巴珊、給業於瑪拿西半支派、其他半支派、約書亞給之以業於兄弟中、在約但西、遣之歸幕時、爲之祝嘏、
- 8 謂曰、爾攜資財豐裕、牲畜殷繁、金銀銅鐵、衣服孔多、今返爾幕、以爾所獲敵財、分與兄弟、○
- 9 於是流便人、迦得人、瑪拿西半支派人、別以色列族、離迦南之示羅、歸基列地、卽循耶和華藉摩西所命、而據之業、
- 10 旣至迦南地、近約但之境、乃築高壇、巍然可觀、
- 11 以色列人聞流便人、迦得人、瑪拿西半支派人、在迦南地、近約但之境、以色列人界內築壇、
- 12 以色列會衆遂集於示羅、欲往攻之、
- 13 遣祭司以利亞撒子非尼哈往基列地、見流便人、迦得人、瑪拿西半支派人、
- 14 又遣以色列各支派牧伯十人、卽以色列億兆之族長偕往、
- 15 咸至基列地、見流便人、迦得人、瑪拿西半支派人曰、
- 16 耶和華會衆云、爾今轉離、不從耶和華、干犯以色列之上帝、爲己築壇、悖逆耶和華、此何罪耶、
- 17 昔拜毘珥之罪、我儕以爲小乎、耶和華會衆緣此遘癘、至今罪未盡免、
- 18 爾今又欲轉離、不從耶和華乎、今日悖逆耶和華、明日彼必怒以色列會衆、
- 19 如爾所得之地、以爲不潔、可歸耶和華會幕所在之地、得業於我儕中、但除我上帝耶和華壇外、勿築別壇、悖逆耶和華及我儕、
- 20 昔謝拉裔亞干、豈非於當滅之物干罪、致怒及於以色列會衆乎、是其人之罪、不獨亡一人也、○
- 21 流便人、迦得人、瑪拿西半支派人、對以色列億兆之族長曰、
- 22 全能之上帝耶和華、全能之上帝耶和華知之、以色列人亦將知之、如我悖逆耶和華、或干犯之、願其今日不救我、
- 23 若我築壇、轉離不從耶和華、或獻燔祭素祭酬恩祭於其上、願耶和華討之、
- 24 我儕行此、乃由預防之故、有意而爲、言恐日後爾裔謂我裔曰、爾與以色列之上帝耶和華何與、
- 25 爾流便人、迦得人歟、耶和華旣定約但爲爾我之界、爾與耶和華無與、如是、爾裔必使我裔不寅畏耶和華、
- 26 故曰、不如築壇、非爲獻燔祭或他祭、
- 27 惟在爾我間、及爾我之裔間爲證、使我亦以燔祭、酬恩祭、及他祭、供事於耶和華前、免日後爾裔謂我裔曰、爾與耶和華無與、
- 28 故曰、日後有人以此問我、或我後裔、則可答曰、試觀我祖所築耶和華壇之式、非爲獻燔祭及他祭、惟在爾我間爲證而已、
- 29 我今決不悖逆耶和華、轉離不從之、在我上帝耶和華幕前之壇外、更築他壇、以獻燔祭素祭及他祭、○
- 30 祭司非尼哈、及所偕會衆之牧伯、卽以色列億兆之族長、聞流便迦得瑪拿西人之言則悅、
- 31 祭司以利亞撒子非尼哈、謂流便迦得瑪拿西人曰、我今日知耶和華在我儕中、因爾未干罪於耶和華、援以色列人脫於耶和華手、
- 32 祭司以利亞撒子非尼哈、與諸牧伯、別流便迦得人、離基列、返迦南、見以色列人而覆之、
- 33 以色列人亦悅之、頌美上帝、不復言往攻流便迦得人、毀其所居之地、
- 34 流便迦得人名其壇曰證、蓋曰耶和華爲上帝、是壇於爾我間爲證也、

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
