- 1 Hapo zamani, Mungu alisema na babu zetu mara nyingi kwa namna nyingi kwa njia ya manabii,
- 2 lakini siku hizi za mwisho, amesema nasi kwa njia ya Mwanae. Yeye ndiye ambaye kwa njia yake Mungu aliumba ulimwengu na akamteua avimiliki vitu vyote.
- 3 Yeye ni mng'ao wa utukufu wa Mungu, na mfano kamili wa hali ya Mungu mwenyewe, akiutegemeza ulimwengu kwa neno lake lenye nguvu. Baada ya kuwapatia binadamu msamaha wa dhambi zao, aliketi huko juu mbinguni, upande wa kulia wa Mungu Mkuu.
- 4 Mwana ni mkuu zaidi kuliko malaika, kama vile jina alilopewa na Mungu ni kuu zaidi kuliko jina lao.
- 5 Maana Mungu hakumwambia kamwe hata mmoja wa malaika wake: "Wewe ni Mwanangu; Mimi leo nimekuwa Baba yako." Wala hakusema juu ya malaika yeyote: "Mimi nitakuwa Baba yake, naye atakuwa Mwanangu."
- 6 Lakini Mungu alipokuwa anamtuma Mwanae mzaliwa wa kwanza ulimwenguni, alisema: "Malaika wote wa Mungu wanapaswa kumwabudu."
- 7 Lakini kuhusu malaika, Mungu alisema: "Mungu awafanya malaika wake kuwa pepo, na watumishi wake kuwa ndimi za moto."
- 8 Lakini kumhusu Mwana, Mungu alisema: "Utawala wako ee Mungu, wadumu milele na milele! Wewe wawatawala watu wako kwa haki.
- 9 Wewe wapenda uadilifu na kuchukia uovu. Ndiyo maana Mungu, Mungu wako amekuweka wakfu na kukumiminia furaha kubwa zaidi kuliko wenzako."
- 10 Pia alisema: "Bwana, wewe uliumba dunia hapo mwanzo, mbingu ni kazi ya mikono yako.
- 11 Hizo zitatoweka, lakini wewe wabaki daima, zote zitachakaa kama vazi.
- 12 Utazikunjakunja kama koti, nazo zitabadilishwa kama vazi. Lakini wewe ni yuleyule daima, na maisha yako hayatakoma."
- 13 Mungu hakumwambia kamwe hata mmoja wa malaika wake: "Keti upande wangu wa kulia, mpaka niwaweke adui zako chini ya miguu yako."
- 14 Malaika ni roho tu wanaomtumikia Mungu, na Mungu huwatuma wawasaidie wale watakaopokea wokovu.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
